Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for the International Air Tattoo. The rooms are spacious with good facilities but could use some modernization. The friendly service stands out, especially recommending the Sunday carvery. The dining options are limited and could be considered expensive for the room rate. The location is easily accessible from the main road but lacks a modern ambiance.
The hotel is perfectly located in the center of town, with a small car park at the rear. The rooms offer a quirky layout with a recently refurbished upstairs bathroom overlooking High Street, although the ensuite had a strong damp smell. The service is exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to assist guests. The dining experience, while reasonable, could be improved with more local options. Overall, a decent stay with some minor drawbacks.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfy, but the steep climb up the narrow stairs was a bit challenging for me. The service was exceptional, especially when they went out of their way to make us a hot chocolate late at night. The location in the Cotswolds was perfect, right on the high street, allowing me to bring my bike into the room overnight. The dining experience was satisfying with a hearty cooked-to-order breakfast. However, not replenishing tea and coffee in the room was a minor inconvenience.
